Meet your photographer!
My name is Alyssa, the Owner and Photographer of Leigh Photography. I survive solely on my love for my job, my family, and continuously binge watching The Office. I'm just your normal chocolate loving, legging wearing, loving mother, who has a passion for photography. I have a spunky and super sweet 10 year old daughter, who's attitude and heart is as big as her mom's! She's the light on my darkest days, and the reason behind all of my smiles. Blessed is an understatement.
My business name is inspired by the amazing women in my family before me. My great, great grandmother's name was Leigh, and was then handed down generation by generation as a middle name (pronounced L-ee). To me, it reflects the amazing, strong, and beautiful women in my life before me, who have influenced who I am. I have been photographing couples, woman's Boudoir, and Brides & Grooms for over 13 years now. I absolutely love my job, and love what I do. My clients become friends, and I appreciate every opportunity I get to capture your biggest and sweetest moments. My ideal client is down to earth, fun, and has a touch of sarcasm.

- My middle name is Leigh, which is where my business name originated from! My daughter also shares my middle name, as well as my mother and generations above!
- I am an avid Veteran supporter and pre-Covid, I organized and hosted annual Bowling Benefits, which have raised over $15,000 for our local Veterans!
- Olives are easily the most disgusting food, and I'm not sure why they still exist.
- The Office, Schitt's Creek, Breaking Bad, and Dexter are my favorite shows.
- Pittbulls are my favorite breed of dog, and I've had 4 of them!
- I'm terrified of clowns... even the happy birthday party clowns.. they give me the creeps!
- I am 100% Equality, both in my personal life and in my business. Love is Love and BLM.

My why is simple. I love to create. I love pulling visions out of creative thought and creating art. I love the feeling of getting 'THE shot'. I love the feeling I get when I nail my vision, or when my client's face lights up when they view the back of the camera.. the way my couples talk about reliving their best day ever through my images.. or the light in my client's eyes as they find a new confidence in themselves after they leave my studio. Having women tell me they love their body, that they love how they look, and how unstoppable they feel after their Boudoir experience. THAT is my why. Helping women see themselves in a different light, having couples interact together, and getting to capture all of it. I absolutely love what I do, and I'm so grateful my passion and my career are one in the same.
